New borns : Very careful administration due to hyperbilirubinaemia.

DRUG INTERACTIONS

Since there is a possibility of some drug interaction, oxacillin should not be mixed withother drugs.

SIDE EFFECTs

- Hypersensitivity reactions, fever,urticaria,eosinophilia,Quincke's oedema and veryrarely anaphylactic shock.

- Digestive troubles, nausea, vomitting,diarrhoea.

- Rare and moderate increase in transaminases (ASAT,ALAT),occasionally hepatitisand cholestatic jaundice.

- Risk of acute allergic intestinal nephritis.

- Reversible haemolytic reactions,anaemia,thrombocytopenia,leucopenia.

Store at less than 25°C and away from light.Keep dry.The reconstituted suspension isstable for 7 days at room temperature (25° C) or 14 days under refrigeration (4° C).Keep out of the reach of children.

SHELF LIFE : 3 years.
