Dosage
1. When Oxacillin Sodium Capsules is used for intramuscular injection, add 2.8ml of sterilized water for injection every 0.5g.
(1) Intramuscular injection of 4-6g to adults a day, administered in four times.
(2) Intravenous drip of 4-8g a day for adults, divided into 2-4 times, and the daily dose of severe infection can be increased to 12g.
2. Children weighing less than 40kg will be given 12.5-25mg/kg according to their weight every 6 hours, and those weighing more than 40kg will be given adult dose.
3. If the newborn weighs less than 2kg, it will be 25mg/kg every 12 hours for those aged 1-14 days and 25 mg/kg every 8 hours for those aged 15-30 days; For those who weigh more than 2kg, the weight is 25mg/kg every 8 hours for those who are 1-14 days old and 25mg/kg every 6 hours for those who are 15-30 days old.
4. Patients with mild and moderate renal dysfunction do not need to adjust the dose, and patients with severe renal dysfunction should avoid using large doses to prevent toxic reactions of the central nervous system.
Adverse effect
1. Allergic reaction: urticaria and other rashes are common, while leukopenia, interstitial nephritis, asthma attack and serum sickness reactions are rare; Anaphylactic shock is rare, once it happens, it must be rescued on the spot, and the airway should be kept clear, oxygen should be taken, and adrenaline and glucocorticoid should be used.
2. Intravenous use of Oxacillin Sodium Capsules may occasionally cause nausea, vomiting and elevated serum aminotransferase.
3. Large-dose intravenous drip of Oxacillin Sodium Capsules can cause toxic reactions of the central nervous system such as convulsions.
4. It has been reported that infants have hematuria, proteinuria and uremia after using large doses of this product.
