Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium Tablets

Before starting to take Ampicillin and Clavulanate Potassium Tablets, patients must first have a penicillin skin test.

Allergic to cephalosporins and allergic diseases such as asthma, eczema, hay fever, urticaria and severe liver dysfunction with caution.

There is cross-allergy between this product and other penicillins and cephalosporins. If allergic reaction occurs, stop using this product immediately and take corresponding measures. It has been reported that patients treated with penicillin have experienced severe and occasional fatal allergic reactions (anaphylactic shock), which is more likely to occur in patients with a history of penicillin allergy. In case of allergic reaction, the use of amoxicillin-clavulanic acid should be stopped and appropriate alternative treatment should be carried out. Severe allergic reactions require immediate emergency treatment with epinephrine. Oxygen infusion, intravenous steroid infusion and airway management, including intubation, may also be required.

This product is cross-resistant to ampicillin and other penicillins and cephalosporins.

Estimate the glomerular filtration rate is less than 30ml/min with caution, renal failure should be adjusted according to the glomerular filtration rate dose or administration interval; Hemodialysis can affect the blood concentration of amoxicillin in this product, so this product should be taken once after hemodialysis.

When using high-dose amoxicillin, it is suggested that patients should take enough liquid and ensure enough urine output to reduce the possibility of amoxicillin crystallized urine.
