Small volume injections refer to preparations with an injection size of less than or equal to 100ml, mainly used for the treatment of severe infections, postoperative fluid replacement, blood transfusion, nutrition, etc. According to the different components and properties of injections, small volume injections can be divided into the following three categories:
1. Nutritional injection: It is mainly an injection based on glucose, amino acids, and fat structures, which can be used to supplement nutrition and provide energy.
2. Rehydration injections: mainly refer to injections used to replenish fluids in low blood volume or hypotension conditions, such as physiological saline, glucose saline, sodium gluconate injection, etc.
3. Therapeutic injection: mainly used for antibacterial, analgesic, antipyretic, antiviral, liver protective and other therapeutic properties.
